Customer Service
Cable Television programming is provided by Comcast, pursuant to a non-exclusive franchise agreement between Comcast and the Village of Lisle.
Please contact Comcast at 1-866-594-1234 if you are experiencing poor reception, or if you are dissatisfied with the installation at your home. Complaints about billing, customer service, refunds, credits, etc., should be directed to the cable company for resolution. It is Comcast's responsibility to resolve your complaints in a satisfactory and timely manner. As their customer, you hold an agreement with Comcast to supply you with service, in the same manner that you have an agreement with the gas, electric, or telephone companies.
The Village is not a rate regulator and does not control the cost of cable services. The Village cannot legally require that Comcast provide specific cable programs on behalf of our residents.
If you have a request for a specific channel that you've seen advertised, please contact Comcast directly at the aforementioned number with your inquiry, or send your request in writing to them at: Government Affairs Manager for the Village of Lisle, Comcast, 155 W. Industrial Drive, Elmhurst, IL 60126.
If you are unsuccessful in resolving any concerns or complaints with Comcast, please call the Village at 630-271-4125 and we will do our best to help with a resolution.
Public Programming
Comcast is required to provide public access programming as part of the franchise agreement to provide television service. Channel 17 serves as a public access channel; Channel 18 provides educational programming for School Districts 202 and 203. Channel 10 provides government access programming. Village Board meetings can be seen live on Channel 10 on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. The Board generally conducts regular meetings on the first and third Monday of each month, and a workshop is generally held on the second Monday. Board meetings are recorded and also air on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 9:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Planning and Zoning Commission meetings can be seen live on Channel 10 every third Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. They are replayed every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
