The Human Resources Department is an internal service department whose mission is to "take care of the people who take care of the residents of The Village of Lisle." A staff of three coordinates the hiring of all Village employees, orients them to their new department, helps them maximize their employee benefits, monitors their progress through performance evaluations, suggests avenues of training and professional development, and prepares them for changes in their careers at separation or retirement.
Additionally, we assure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in all aspects of hiring, safety, training, payroll, benefits, compensation, labor/employee relations, risk management, etc. The department implements the policies established by the Village of Lisle Board of Trustees. We also assist with the recognition of Village employees and volunteers at the Village’s annual recognition events.
