The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners of the Village of Lisle will hold periodic examinations to establish an eligibility list for initial appointment to the position of Police Officer.

The current Police Officer candidate list is effective May 30, 2008 through May 30, 2010. Once the existing list has expired, or no longer includes interested candidates, the Village of Lisle will post police testing notices on the home page and through the media to establish a new eligibility list. The publication will notify potential candidates of upcoming testing including specific details.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• United States citizenship
• Age of 21-34 years as of the application deadline
• Binocular vision correctable to 20/20
• Associate's degree or minimum of 60 hours of college credit from an accredited college
• Valid driver’s license
