VOTER REGISTRATION
Residents may register to vote at the Village Hall Business Office at 925 Burlington Ave. Downtown Lisle, between 7 A.M. and 5 P.M. Monday through Friday.
Requirements are as follows:
- United States citizenship
- Age 18 by the date of next election
- Resident of the precinct for 30 days as of the next election.
- To register to vote, you must provide two forms of identification, at least one of which must show your current address. For new residents who have not yet changed their driver's license, the Village recommends a utility bill to verify your address.
- Naturalized citizens will need to provide the court, date, and city of naturalization.
Residents who move within a county and hold a current voter’s registration card can follow the instructions on the back of the card to transfer their registration to their new address. Residents whose registration has lapsed, or have changed their name, must re-register in person. State law prohibits the acceptance of new registrations and changes of address in the 28-day period before an election or for two days after an election.

The DuPage County Election Commission is charged with the conduct of all federal, state, county and local elections occurring within the county.

PETS

All dogs and cats over four months of age are required to receive rabies inoculations, and keep them up to date. DuPage County Animal Control issues rabies tags through local veterinarians, as well as at the Animal Control Center in Wheaton.
Lisle dogs must wear a current County rabies tag and a Village of Lisle tag attached to their collars. Village dog tags are to be obtained at the Village Hall, Monday-Friday 7am-5pm. You must bring in a current rabies certificate issued from the veterinarian. The rabies certificate must show the name of the vaccine. Dog tags are valid for the calendar year and should be renewed each January. There is a $10.00 fee. Fines will be charged if a dog is found not wearing a current Village of Lisle dog tag. There is no tag required for cats.
Village ordinances prohibit dogs and cats from running at large. If your pet is missing, contact the Lisle Police Department at 630-271-4200 to see if your pet has been picked up.
Pet owners redeeming their animals from the pound will be will be required to pay for all fines and any fees that incurred for the period the animal was impounded. Some of the fees are boarding cost, rabies inoculation (if no proof), and micro chipping. Micro chipping is a state law passed January 1, 2004, requiring all impounded animals to be chipped and registered before being released to their owners.

VILLAGE STICKERS
The Village of Lisle does not require local vehicle stickers. Village of Lisle residents that would like a complimentary vehicle sticker may obtain one at the Village Hall, Monday-Friday 7am-5pm at no charge. Just bring in the current registration for your vehicle, and proof of residency.
