LOCAL ROADWAY NETWORK
Route 53 & Route 34: Two major state highways serve Lisle: the north-south Route 53 (Lincoln Avenue) and east-west Route 34 (Ogden Avenue).
Other East-West Thoroughfares:
Warrenville Road offers east-west travel and is located close to Lisle’s northern boundary near I-88. Similarly, Maple Avenue (Chicago Avenue in Naperville), located in southern Lisle, provides another option for east-west travel. Immediately south of Lisle is east-west Hobson Road.
Other North-South Thoroughfares:
Several highly traveled county highways traverse Lisle. Yackley Avenue/College Road extends north and south in the western portion of the Village. Also, to Lisle’s western border, Naper Blvd./Naperville Road presents another viable alternative for travel. View a detailed Map of Lisle (PDF).
PACE BUS SERVICE
Numerous Pace buses await a commuter train during rush hour.
Pace bus service is readily available throughout the Village of Lisle, with feeder service to the downtown Lisle Metra Train Station. Pace also offers extensive reverse commuter service to many businesses along Lisle’s corporate corridor.
Pace is the suburban busing transit arm of the Regional Transit Authority (RTA), an agency responsible for public transportation throughout the entire Chicagoland region.
