The Village also maintains a stormwater system. All stormwater from the Village ultimately flows into the East Branch of the DuPage River, which flows through Community Park.
Public Works crews are scheduled periodically to clean the storm sewers and catch basins along streets and in detention areas. Please report any clogged drains by calling (630)-271-4180, but realize that detention basins are designed to hold water during storms and discharge it slowly. Village crews also mow riverbanks and remove obstructions from waterways.
All property owners are asked to assist with improving water quality by following the guidelines recommended by The Conservation Foundation.
