It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Village of Lisle, a community that Money Magazine named as one of the Top Twenty "Best Places to Live in America." Lisle is located in the heart of a major  transportation network in prosperous DuPage County, just 26 miles west of Chicago.

Known as “The Arboretum Village,” Lisle is home to the internationally acclaimed Morton Arboretum, 1,700 acres of woodlands, wetlands, prairies, lakes and meadows which offer a wonderful escape to nature.

In Lisle, nature serves as a dramatic backdrop to many exciting changes that are occuring throughout the community. Downtown Lisle has recently been transformed into a beautiful nature themed shopping and dining district. PrairieWalk Pond, an award winning new 4.5 acre natural area, now serves as a stunning gateway into the Downtown.

Lisle's prestigous I-88 Corporate Corridor is home to businesses that value the Village's strategic midwestern location as they reach out to a global marketplace. We are proud to welcome our newest businesses, the corporate headquarters of Navistar, SunCoke and Leeco Steel. They join a thriving community of more than 1,000 businesses such as Molex, Unilever and McCain Foods which already call Lisle home. 

Each year, Lisle attracts more than a million visitors traveling to the community for business or pleasure. Lisle's excellent lodging, dining and recreational options satisfy, resulting in many return visits over the years.

I have been serving the Lisle community for more than two decades - 15 years as a Trustee and ten years as Mayor.  I have come to love this community and the people that live, work and visit Lisle.
