Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)
Hazardous materials, such as oil-based paints, insecticides, herbicides, fluorescent light bulbs/ballasts, cleaning solvents, thermostats, etc., cannot be disposed via the regular refuse collection.

There is a Household Hazardouos Waste collection facility located behind the Naperville Fire Station #4 which is located at 1971 Brookdale Road. The collection facility is open throughout the year on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (except for holiday weekends).

For more information on Household Hazardous Waste collection, residents can visit the DuPage County website or the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency website. Special collections throughout DuPage County during the year will also be posted on this website.

In addition, Air Cycle offers recycling services for fluorescent lighting, ballasts and more.
