Freedom of Information Act Request Logs

Monthly Logs
The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Officer is required to keep a log of all written FOIA requests. The log includes the following:
  • Each requestor’s name
  • Date of the request
  • When the request is due
  • Date of completion
  • A description of the requested documents
The logs also indicate whether or not any information has been denied, and the FOIA section or other law that supports that denial.
