Over 44% of Lisle’s housing stock consists of single family detached homes ranging from starter homes to larger executive estate homes.

The Arboretum Village

As "The Arboretum Village," Lisle has a significant collection of large lots, mature trees and foliage throughout. Nature plays a dominant role in such subdivisions as Green Trails, which is nestled within 744 acres and includes 25 miles of trails, 9 lakes, 17 public parks, mature woods, grassy open spaces, gentle hills and flat lands.
 
Notice of Public Hearing
Public  Hearing Notice for the 2016 Action Plan for the DuPage County Consortium, which will help decide how to spend $5 million in federal funding to provide decent housing and living conditions and expanded economic opportunity to low to moderate income people in DuPage County.  
Redevelopment
Redevelopment is bringing a variety of housing options to the Village including new homes, condominiums, upscale apartments, senior living and town homes. Examples include Arbor Trails, a beautiful new residential subdivision featuring 162 of homes on 8 acres at the southern section of Lisle and 300-unit upscale apartment complex Avant at the Arboretum, which is located along Lisle's corporate corridor and features views of The Morton Arboretum. Arbor Place, a new senior development, is the latest option for seniors on a limited income. The Village anticipates continued infill redevelopment in the future. Lisle's housing market can effectively meet the needs of the majority of people throughout all the seasons of their lives.
