Fingerprinting Services

The Community Service Officer (CSO) Unit provides fingerprinting services on an appointment basis only, no walk-ins please. Individuals seeking fingerprinting should call the Police Department at 630-271-4200 to schedule an appointment.

Fingerprinting appointments may be scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m.

Fingerprinting services are free to incorporated Lisle residents. There is a $5 charge for employees of Lisle businesses.  In addition, individuals need to supply the ink cards, which are generally provided by the entities requesting the fingerprinting.

On average, one set of ink or electronic fingerprints takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.  Appointments for multiple ink cards (3 or more) will be accommodated.  In some cases multiple ink cards can be scheduled across two appointments.

Bring a minimum of 2 valid forms of identification including proof of current residence.  Failure to provide these items will result in no service being provided.
Arrive 10 – 15 minutes before scheduled appointment to confirm their arrival for the appointment and the availability of a CSO to complete the printing.
Those who arrive late for their appointment or do not have the proper forms of identification will forfeit their appointment.
