Role of the Division
The Purchasing Division, part of the Finance Department, oversees the purchasing of all goods and services for the Village and is responsible for ensuring that all purchases comply with federal, state, county, and municipal laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations.
Bid and Proposal Opportunities
Contracts for the procurement of supplies, professional services, and construction are made through fair and open competition using competitive bids and requests for proposals that will result in the award of contracts equitably and economically.

Prevailing Wage Rate Determination
For contracts that call for the construction of a "public work" within the meaning of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq.), a copy of the prevailing wage ordinance currently in effect can be found here, as well as the official IL Dept. of Labor prevailing wage schedule for DuPage County.
