The Village of Lisle, with funding assistance from DuPage County, will be hosting a one-day, no cost, Document Destruction Event for residents on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Commuter Parking Lot located just west of Village Hall (925 Burlington Avenue.)
Paper documents must be brought to the event in either paper shopping bags or cardboard boxes. Please no plastic bags. There is a limit of two file-size/copier paper boxes or three paper shopping bags per vehicle. Paper clips and staples do not need to be removed, but please remove binders and metal clips.
Workers and volunteers will assist residents taking paper out of vehicles and placing in carts. The documents will then be loaded into a mobile shredding truck on site. Documents will be cross-cut shredded on site and then recycled.
No business, corporate or institutional generated documents will be accepted.
