Veterans Memorial in Downtown Lisle
Honor past, present and future veterans and their service to our country by visiting the Veterans Memorial at 4721 Center Avenue, Downtown Lisle (southeast corner of School Street and Center Avenue). Free parking at Village Hall and in the commuter parking lots.
Creating the memorial was the result of successful efforts of Lisle residents Karen & Dan Burris, Kim & Larry Carlson, Dave & Daphnee Gleason, Jorge Ortiz and Maria Remigio who launched a grassroots effort to build the memorial. The memorial was dedicated on Veterans Day, November 11, 2016 and they received the 2017 Community Spirit Award.
The Lisle Veterans Memorial is maintained by the Lisle Park District.
