Permit Application

The Development Services Department utilizes a consolidated permit application form for all building permit types, site development permits, sign permits, and right-of-way construction permits.  

Zoning Application

The zoning application form is utilized for a variety of zoning entitlements including map amendments, special use permits, and variances.  Before submitting a zonin

g application, you are encouraged to schedule a pre-application meeting with Village Staff to discuss the proposed zoning requests. 

Right-of-Way Encroachment Application


The right-of-way encroachment application form is utilized for right-of-way encroachments including outdoor dining, retail display, vestibules, irrigation systems, and brick paver driveway aprons when those improvements are occurring within the Village's right-of-way.  

Retail Business Build-Out Grant Program Application


The Retail Business Build-Out Grant Program is intended to strengthen targeted retail business activity in the Village’s shopping districts. Recipients can be eligible for reimbursement of up to 50% of the cost incurred to locate or expand a business within the Village (up to $15,000). Participants must have a sales tax generating business and must install at least $5,000 in eligible improvements.

Restaurant Grant Program Application

The Restaurant Grant Program is intended to grow the Village's dining options and provides for up to 50% or a maximum of $50,000 in reimbursements to open a new restaurant. Recipients would be required to install at least $25,000 in eligible improvements.

Shopping Center / Multi-Use Retail Grant Program Application

The Shopping Center or Multi-Use Retail Grant Program is intended to enhance the Village's existing retail sector. Recipients can be eligible for reimbursement of up to 50% of the costs incurred for the rehabilitation of commercial shopping centers or a mixed-use retail building that contains more than 2,500 square feet of floor area with two or more commercial tenants (up to $50,000).

​Affidavit of Owner's Consent Form

Associated Application: Zoning Application and Business Development Grants Program Applications
The Affidavit of Owner's Consent is utilized to indicate that a tenant or contract purchaser has the property owner's permission to submit an application.

​Disclosure of Beneficiaries Form

Associated Application: Zoning Application and Business Development Grants Program Applications
The Disclosure of Beneficiaries is required by Title 1, Chapter 13, of the Lisle Village Code.  This disclosure is required for any application seeking benefit from a decision of the Village Board or commissions.
 

​Hold Harmless Agreement Form

Associated Applications: Right-of-Way Encroachment Application and Permit Applications associated with construction in the right-of-way.
The Hold Harmless Agreement is utilized to indemnify the Village when a right-of-way encroachment or construction in the right-of-way is proposed. 


Plumbing Affidavit Form

Associated Applications: Permit Application
The Plumbing Affidavit is utilized in conjunction with any permit application for plumbing work when the property owner is proposing to act as the plumbing contractor.  In accordance with State Law, property owners may perform plumbing work on single family attached and detached residences if the residence is the property owner's primary residence.
