Yard Waste Pickup Resumes

Yard-waste, also known as landscape waste, consists of organic waste materials accumulated as the result of cultivation and maintenance of gardens, lawns, shrubbery, trees and vines. Acceptable food scarps may be combined with yard-waste carts, acceptable containers or biodegradable bags.
The following list is considered yard-waste and food scrap: Garden trimmings, branches and brush under two inches in diameter, leaves, flowers, tree droppings (crabapples & pinecones), garden plants, vines, weeds and grass clippings, bread, fruits, vegetables, grains, coffee grounds, pasta, cheese, and egg shells.
UNACCEPTED ITEMS: Bones, meat, plastic, diapers, metal, poultry, fats, oil, seafood, glass, food packaging service ware (#6 foam), grease, paper plates, liquids, and pet waste.
LRS will also collect bundled brush and tree branches under four inches in diameter and four feet in length, securely tied using biodegradable cord, string, rope or twine. Bundles may not exceed 50 pounds in weight / 18 inches in diameter and must be manageable by one person
