*Due to the scheduling differences in the print and online versions of the Village’s Branch Collection Program, the Village will collect branches according to both versions. Collection weeks and locations will be based on both schedules featured online and in the printed newsletter.
Cleaning up your yard? Starting the second week of September, the Village’s fall branch collection program provides a convenient option for the disposal of landscape branches. Under the program, bundled branches that have been trimmed by homeowners or have fallen due to weather conditions will be collected. All bundled branch piles need to be placed in the parkway by 7:00 a.m. on the Monday of your scheduled collection week. Please note that crews will not go back down a street for branches that are placed out late and that whole trees or shrubs will not be collected.
General program guidelines for preparing bundles for pick up and a collection map that is updated daily can be viewed on the Village’s branch collection webpage by clicking here. Please contact the Village of Lisle’s Public Works Department at (630) 271-4180 for further information. The program rotates collection regions every season. Pickups are scheduled according to three regions (defined below) and the order in which the regions are picked up changes each season.
North (North of Burlington Northern Train Tracks) – September 11
Center (Between the BNSF Train Tracks and Maple Avenue) – September 18
South (South of Maple Avenue) – September 25
