The Village of Lisle extends a congratulation to several Lisle businesses recently honored with the ‘Best of the West’ recognition from West Suburban Living. The magazine asks its readers each year to nominate and rate the best businesses in 90 different categories, ranging from dining, to activities and entertainment, shopping, services, recreation and more.
Among the Lisle businesses recognized as top voter getters in their distinct categories were Allgauer’s at the Hilton Lisle/Naperville for Best Brunch, and The Collective LHE+ Makery for Best New Store. Located in downtown Lisle, the new business offers in-home interior design and consulting services, in addition to a creative workshop. The Collective LHE+ Makery also received third place for Most Unique Gift Shop.
The Morton Arboretum won second place in the Best Jogging or Running Path and received mention as one of the favorites in the Best Places for Live Music category.
“We are very proud of all of our local businesses and would especially like to congratulate those recognized in this impressive list,” said Mayor Chris Pecak.
Village Manager Eric Ertmoed added, “The Village works diligently to support local businesses and create an environment that fosters and encourages continued growth.”
Another winning business located in Lisle is Chinn’s 34th Street Fishery, who received second place for Best Seafood. In addition to businesses ranking in the top 3, a number of Lisle businesses were noted as favorites in several categories appearing on the list.
