Have a light strand that doesn't work? Recycle it! The Village and Elgin Recycling have partnered to offer holiday light recycling free of charge to residents of Lisle. You will be able to recycle your nonworking incandescent and LED holiday lights as well as extension cords; display pieces will NOT be accepted. Please see the images below for acceptable and non-acceptable items. Light strands and cords can be dropped off in the Village Hall vestibule located at 925 Burlington Avenue, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The collection will end on February 1, 2019.
