Village Seeks Residents Interested in Village Clerk Position


The Village extends its gratitude to Village Clerk Brondyke for her service.  Ms. Brondyke resigned recently to pursue another career opportunity.  The Village of Lisle is currently seeking residents interested in filling this vacancy as Village Clerk. The Village Clerk is the official keeper of the corporate seal and responsible for the official records belonging to the Village. Duties of the position include attending all meetings of the corporate authorities, calling the roll, signing Village documents, keeping minutes of meetings, and administering Oaths of Office for Village officials. As the local election authority, the clerk has various duties in the municipal election process. The Clerk does not vote during board meetings and is not a policy-making member of the Village Board.

The appointment will be for the current unexpired term ending in the spring of 2021.
