Pothole Reporting Information

The recent winter weather has resulted in potholes emerging in roadways. Roadways within the Village of Lisle fall under the jurisdiction of three governmental entities, which includes the Village, DuPage County and the State of Illinois. In an effort to keep motorists safe, the Village of Lisle Public Works Department repairs potholes that have developed on Village-maintained streets, with other jurisdictions maintaining the roads that fall within their authority. Below is a list of streets by jurisdiction and information on how to report a pothole once it has been identified.

State of Illinois
Illinois Route 53
Ogden Avenue

Report to IDOT using this link

DuPage County
Warrenville Road
Yackley Avenue
College Road
Maple Avenue

Report to the DuPage County Division of Transportation using this link

Village of Lisle
All other public roadways within Village Boundaries.

Residents are encouraged to report large potholes to the Lisle Public Works Department by:

  • Sending an email 

  • Using Report a Concern

  • Calling Public Works at (630)271-4180

Potholes will be repaired as soon as the weather permits.
