Help make Lisle a better place to walk, jog, run and bike! The Village of Lisle, Lisle Bicyclist and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, and the Active Transportation Alliance will be hosting a community meeting on Wednesday, December 4th at 7:00 p.m. at the Lisle Village Hall. Join them to learn about the upcoming update to the Lisle Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan, hear what feedback has been submitted and discuss ideas that will make the Lisle community friendlier for bicyclists and pedestrians. If you plan on attending, please RSVP to Maggie Melin at firstname.lastname@example.org. While responding is not mandatory, it is encouraged to assist the Village in planning for the meeting.
If you can’t make the meeting, or haven’t responded yet, be sure to sure to take the online survey aimed at gaining resident input on barriers to bicycling and walking, improving connectivity to the robust regional trail system and identifying key destinations that residents want to reach by bicycle or on foot. And don’t forget to take part in the mapping exercise, where respondents can provide input on routes for walking and biking, crossings, and destinations! Responses to the survey and mapping exercise will help the Village identify future improvements.
