[ARCHIVED] Input Sought on Update to Lisle Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan

The Village of Lisle has been working in partnership with the Active Transportation Alliance to update the Village’s 2008 Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan. Once complete, the newly updated plan will provide recommendations for the continued advancement of this network of safe and accessible streets that connect cyclists and pedestrians to popular community destinations. This will be accomplished in a way that accommodates the needs of all ages and ability levels.

The 9-month planning process began with the launch of a survey and online map tool and included a robust program of activities aimed at gaining resident input on barriers to bicycling and walking, improving connectivity to the robust regional trail system and identifying key destinations that residents want to reach by bicycle or on foot.

The deadline to complete the online survey and mapping exercise is January 17, 2020. To complete the online survey and mapping exercise and learn more about Lisle’s efforts to improve biking and walking or to receive periodic updates about the planning process, click here or on the link below.
