As municipal buildings have limited access to the public, the Village is reminding residents and visitors of alternative service and payment options. For example, utility bill payments can be completed via the following methods:
- Village website (Please note that a 2.25% card fee will be assessed by the service provider).
- Placing payment envelopes in the Village drop-box (in the parking lot just west of the Village Hall main entrance, south of the storage garage)
- Sending payment by mail (Village of Lisle, 925 Burlington Ave, Lisle, IL 60532)
Refuse/yard waste stickers may also be purchased online through the Village’s payment portal. Simply choose one-time payment, then refuse / yard waste stickers, and fill in the required information. Once the transaction is completed, stickers are mailed promptly. There is no cost to the purchaser for postage.
The Village strongly encourages residents and businesses to use online services as much as possible. Essential municipal administrative services continue in a limited capacity by phone (630-271-4100) and email. The Village’s online Report a Concern feature has several categories of service requests available. If you need assistance with services such as processing a payment online or via mail, please contact staff at (630) 271-4100.
Residential remodeling falls within Section 9 of permitted essential business activity of the Governor’s Executive Order. Please check with the Village to verify if a permit is required for any work being performed. Review the Village’s website for newly implemented policies and procedures for submitting a permit application.
As the current situation remains ongoing, the Village will continue to share updates to its website at www.villageoflisle.org and on social media. Residents are encouraged to visit the website to sign-up for CodeRed, News Flashes and find links to Village social media accounts.
