Celebrate the Holidays with a Coloring Contest, Holiday Caravan and Tree Lighting Streamed Live!

Celebrate the holidays with events guaranteed to help in sharing holiday cheer! The Pre-K through 5th Grade holiday coloring contest is underway, with this year’s winning submissions to be featured on the Village’s website, Facebook and Twitter accounts, and winners receiving a goodie bag. In lieu of the annual parade, this year, on December 5th, a holiday caravan will go throughout the Village helping to share the holiday spirit. Santa will be joined by Lisle’s Mayor, Village Trustees, and others as they make their way through the Village in vehicles decorated to help spread holiday cheer.

The holiday caravan begins at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2020 and will proceed slowly through the Village following the route illustrated on the map found at the link below. (Fair warning to children, Santa will be updating his naughty and nice list as he makes his way through town). Take a look at the map and plan to find your spot along the route to view the caravan and wave as they go by!

After the caravan, journey back home to comfort of the indoors to view the annual tree lighting ceremony streamed live! At 6:00 p.m., one of the Village’s cherished holiday activities goes online and will be streamed live on the Village’s Facebook page.  Visit the Village’s Facebook page that evening and join in the fun! This, and the holiday caravan, are intended to continue celebration in a manner that observes public health safety guidelines and affords participants some peace of mind as they celebrate the holidays. Please help the celebration proceed in a manner that keeps our community safe - observe social distancing when viewing the caravan and view the tree lighting streamed live!
