Village Offices Closed for Holidays

Village offices will be closed on Thursday, December 24 and Friday, December 25 for Christmas and on Friday, January 1, 2016 for New Years Day. Garbage and recycling pickup schedules will not be affected by these holidays. Have a safe and joyful holiday season.

A Groundbreaking Ceremony was held on December 15 to signal the beginning of construction on a $50 million mixed-use redevelopment of the Old Village Hall Site in Downtown Lisle by developer Marquette Companies. The new development, Main Street Village, will offer 201 well-appointed apartments, indoor parking, two rooftop amenity decks, an outdoor plaza, dining/retail options and more! Are You Registered for Smart 911?

Smart 911 is a free, confidential service that allows you to set up an electronic profile which provides 911 responders with information about your family and their medical conditions, pets, vehicles and other important information which makes them better prepared to answer your emergency calls. Smart 911 is a valuable tool when searching for missing children, assisting unresponsive callers who are unable to speak due to a medical condition, or in a house fire when first responders need to locate and account for family members, pets and essential documents. Since the service launched in DuPage County in June of 2011, more than 25,000 families have registered to use this system. Approximately 15,000 calls received by DuPage County 911 centers had Smart 911 profiles. To learn more, click here.
