Weather Alert - March 15 - 16, 2016

Scattered severe thunderstorms are possible between 9 p.m. (Tuesday, March 15) and 1 a.m. (Wednesday, March 16)) with expected rainfall between 1/4 and 1/2 inch. A High Wind Watch is in effect for Wednesday, March 16 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. with wind gusts up to 60 mph in the evening.  Winds this high may cause property damage. Bring pets in, secure or bring in objects that may blow away. Do Not Be A Victim of Crime

The Lisle Police Department has received several calls recently regarding individuals entering open garages and unlocked vehicles and attempting to steal items. To prevent theft, please be sure to keep your garage doors closed and locked (even if you are working outside) and your vehicles locked.  Do not store electronic devices or other valuables in plain sight in your vehicle. Be sure your pets are safe when they are outdoors as well. Theft can happen in a manner of minutes, take precautions now.  Please report any suspicious activity to the Lisle Police Department at 630-271-4200.
