Click It or Ticket

Click It or Ticket Campaign

What would life be like if a loved one left your life suddenly? Last year, there were 13 fatalities in Illinois over Memorial Day weekend. To help keep the public safe, Lisle Police will be conducting a "Click It or Ticket" Campaign from May 16 - May 30. Unbuckled drivers and passengers will be ticketed and those driving impaired by alcohol or drugs will be arrested. Buckle up, drive sober or choose a designated driver. For more info, click here.

Door to Door Electric Aggregation Solicitation

A Lisle resident reports that two men knocked on his front door and asked to see his ComEd bill to determine if he qualifies for electric aggregation. The men wore badges and had a clipboard holding what looked like a sample ComEd bill. No one from Village or Constellation Energy, its aggregation supplier, will contact residents in person or by phone. All Electric Aggregation Program communications will be sent via mail either on the Village’s or Constellation Energy’s letterhead. Should another company's rep visit your home, do not share your ComEd bill or your account number. Unscrupulous solicitors can change your account with just your account number. If any solicitor acts in an un-professional manner, you can file a complaint with the Illinois Commerce Commission by calling (800) 524-0795 or filing online at icc.illinois.gov/consumer/complaint.

Decorated Rain Barrel

Rain Barrels Made Easy

The Village of Lisle and The Conservation Foundation have partnered to make it easier for you to purchase a rain barrel. Rain barrels collect rain water that falls on rooftops so it can be used to water your lawn or garden, or wash your car. You can even unleash your inner artist and decorate your rain barrel so that it reflects your personal style. When you order a rain barrel from The Conservation Foundation, it can be picked up at Village Hall on Sunday, June 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. during Garden Gait.
