Christy McGovern New Trustee 

Christy McGovern was unanimously approved as Village Board Trustee on July 18. She will complete the remaining term of former Trustee Rob Getz, who resigned due to scheduling conflicts with his job. Smart Meter

Smart Meters Coming to Lisle

ComEd or Corix (an approved ComEd vendor) will begin installing Smart Meters in Lisle residences beginning August 22, Monday - Friday, from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Contractors will be in uniform and carry IDs.  ComEd will contact customers via phone to advise when a residence is scheduled for installation.

A smart meter is a digital device that sends electricity-usage info to ComEd. Residential customers with smart meters will have access to online energy-management tools, high-usage alerts and weekly reports summarizing electricity usage to assist them in managing electric bills. National Night Out Against Crime

Building strong, positive relationships between the community and law enforcement - that's what "National Night Out Against Crime" is all about. Join your neighbors and local, state and federal emergency responders at a meet and greet hosted by Benedictine University police. Enjoy food, games, vehicle displays, demos and more. Motown Kicks Off FREE! 2016 PrairieWalk Pond Concert Series 

Help celebrate the Village of Lisle's 60th Anniversary during the FREE! PrairieWalk Pond Concert on Thursday, August 4 at 7 p.m. when Brooke and the Nice Things take the stage playing MOTOWN favorites. Bring a chair/blanket; food/drinks by Evviva! Garfield Avenue and Route 53, Downtown Lisle.  Future concert dates include: August 12(The Boy Band Night), 19 (7th Heaven) and 26 (Jin & Tonic, Country).

"Coffee with the Mayor"

Join Lisle Mayor Joe Broda for the next "Coffee with the Mayor" on Tuesday, August 2, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Lisle Village Hall (925 Burlington Avenue.). Discuss topics of interest to you with the Mayor in a casual setting over a cup of coffee.
