Marq On Main Construction Resumes

Construction resumes on Marq on Main, the upscale mixed-used Downtown Lisle redevelopment. Popular craft beer, wine and barbecue restaurant Red Arrow Tap Room will occupy a portion of the first floor. Occupancy of the 201 luxury apartments is projected to take place in the second quarter 2018. The project lost some time due to delivery delays for pre-cast concrete last spring and summer. In addition, a new General Contractor, Kinzie Group, has been secured. To learn more about this project, click here

Village Renews Electric Aggregation Program.

The Village recently renewed the Electric Aggregation Program, contracting with Dynegy Energy Services, at a fixed rate of 7.046¢ per kWh for 14-months (3.5% lower than the current Village rate). The Village also chose to increase the volume of Renewable Energy Credits to support renewable generation, or “green” energy - 25% of energy will be sourced from renewable generation such as solar and wind. There is no enrollment fee to join and no early termination fee to leave the program. Notices will be mailed to residents and small businesses in June 2017.  To learn more, click here

The Village's current electric supplier Constellation sent residents a letter notifying them of a modest shift in costs from the energy portion of their bill to the ComEd portion of their bill. This change has no impact on the bill and Constellation bills will no longer be sent to residents once the Village's contract with Constellation ends in the summer. If you have questions, please call the Village's energy consultant, NIMEC, at (800) 727-3820.
