Downtown Lisle Parking Study - Parking Survey

The Village of Lisle is evaluating its parking to improve the livability and vitality of Downtown Lisle. If you would like to provide feedback about parking in Downtown Lisle, please complete the new Downtown Lisle Parking Survey created by the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning by clicking here.  The Parking Study is being done at the same time as the development of the new Downtown Lisle Master Plan to ensure comprehensive planning for the future of Downtown Lisle occurs.  

Flood Open House

Flood Open Houses Review Proposed Flood Insurance Rate Maps Released by FEMA 

The Village of Lisle and DuPage County will host two public Open Houses to review the Revised Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps.  The public is invited to attend either meeting to discuss the proposed changes with staff.   Postcards announcing the meetings are being sent to the property owners most affected by the proposed changes.

Ogden Avenue

Ogden Avenue Resurfacing Project Begins Monday, July 17, 2017

On Monday, July 17, IDOT will begin resurfacing Ogden Avenue beginning in Lisle from I-355 west to Raymond Drive in Naperville. The project is anticipated to last through November 2017. No lane closures will occur prior to 9 a.m. and access to Ogden Avenue businesses will be maintained. Motorists are advised to use caution, anticipate delays, allow for additional travel time or choose an alternative travel route. Improvements will result in safer, smoother rides, repairs to roads/sidewalks and new road markings. 

Monthly Electronics Recycling Event 

Did you know you can recycle small household appliances (microwaves, hair dryers, toasters, blenders, mixers, etc.) at the monthly Electronics Recycling Events? The next event takes place Saturday, July 15 from 8 a.m. - noon in the parking lot just west of Village Hall.(925 Burlington Avenue). To review a list of accepted items, click here

Train Station

Train Station Maintenance Closes Shelters and Tunnel 

Reminder, the Downtown Lisle Train Station tunnel and shelters will be closed for painting from Monday, July 17 through Friday, July 21. Use the pedestrian tunnel adjacent to the east side of Main Street to access both sides of the tracks during this time. This site will not serve as a cooling center while being painted. 1976 Rocks First PrairieWalk Pond Concert of the Season 

Rock your summer at the FREE! PrairieWalk Pond Concert by 70's band, 1976!  All are welcome Thursday, August 3, from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at beautiful PrairieWalk Pond, (Route 53 & Garfield Avenue), Downtown Lisle. 1976 performs hits by Fleetwood Mac, Peter Frampton, Tom Petty, Pat Benatar, Heart and more. Food, Beer/Wine will be available for purchase. Bring a chair/blanket and your friends/family. FREE! parking is available in the Garfield Parking Lot and Downtown Lisle.
