Secretary of State Mobile Unit at Village Hall

Avoid long lines and wasted time. The Secretary of State's Mobile Unit will be at Village Hall on Thursday, August 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to issue driver's license renewals, state IDs and license plate renewal stickers for August and September. Proper identification and payment are required. No appointment needed. Generally, there is no or minimal wait time. To learn more, click here.

Eric Ertmoed Appointed
Village Manager 

During the July 24 meeting, the Village Board unanimously approved Mayor Pecak’s appointment of Eric Ertmoed to Village Manager. Eric had been serving as Acting Village Manager since February 2017, when former Village Manager Gerald Sprecher retired after sixteen years of service. Eric has been employed with the Village since 2008, serving in various capacities. He will be sworn-in during the August 21 Village Board Meeting. To learn more, click here.

Rescheduled PrairieWalk Pond Concert

Due to the threat of severe weather, the first PrairieWalk Pond Concert of the season with band 1976 (playing hits from the 70s), has been rescheduled to Monday, August 7 at 7 p.m. We apologize for this inconvenience, but look forward to seeing you Monday. Self Defense Workshop Full, Wait List Available 

The FREE! Self-Defense Workshop that will be presented by One Light Self-Defense on Thursday, August 10 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. is full (40 attendees). College or high school-aged women who are still interested in this workshop should call the Lisle Police Department at (630) 271-4200 and place their name on a wait list . The Village is receiving requests for this workshop customized for women in general and for evening workshops. If you have a particular request, please let the Lisle Police Department know so they can better assess community needs and plan accordingly.

Treat your family to fun, new experiences! Veggie Fest 2017 offers an international food court, music, kids activities, yoga, health talks by experts, 100+ vendor booths and more. Take the Vegetarian Challenge or just learn more about healthy eating. FREE! admission and parking. August 12 and 13, from 11 a.m. -  8 p.m. Benedictine University, 5700 College Road, Lisle. Join Us for Library Storytimes at PrairieWalk Pond

Spark your child's imagination as the Lisle Library offers two FREE! Storytimes at PrairieWalk Pond. Friday, August 18 and Friday, September 1 at 10:30 a.m. Afterward, tots can cool off in the FREE! splash pad or play area. Route 53 and Garfield Avenue, Downtown Lisle.
