Labor Day Reminders

Village of Lisle offices will be closed on Monday, September 4 in observance of Labor Day. The Village's non-emergency departments will reopen on Tuesday, September 5. Dragonfly Landing Splash Pad Closes September 5

The Dragonfly Landing Splash Pad will close for the season on September 5. While the splash pad will close, the play area remains open. The splash pad will re-open Memorial Day weekend in May 2018. To learn more about the splash pad, click here.

Wanted: Responsible Drivers

Turn off the "automatic." Many people who drive are on "automatic," going thru the motions, not really paying attention. The Village continues to receive complaints about speeding and school is back in session. Lisle Police are taking steps to control speeding, They have conducted more than 10,000 traffic stops in the past year and a half. The majority of these stops involved speeding. They have also used speed signs and reminders to drive responsibly have been conveyed on the Village's communication channels. But Lisle Police can't be everywhere. Every driver needs to obey the speed limits and follow the rules of the road. Turn off the "automatic," focus on the road. Accidents have no "do over" button.

Two New FREE! Self Defense Workshops Scheduled

Due to popular demand, two new FREE! self defense workshops have been scheduled. One is for women of all ages, the other is for K - 5th graders. Both will be presented by One Light Self-Defense at the Lisle Police Department. Space is limited, reserve your spot today.
