Dragonfly Landing Splash Pad Closed For Season

Warmer weather has prompted requests regarding whether the splash pad is still open. It was closed for the season on September 5 and will re-open during Memorial Day weekend in 2018.  Announcements were posted on the Village's communication channels.

"Drive Sober" Labor Day Results

During the Labor Day "Drive Sober" campaign, Lisle Police issued 32 speeding citations, 19 other traffic related citations, made 4 DUI arrests and issued 3 seat belt violations. The answer is simple: buckle up, drive sober, obey the rules of the road. To learn more, click here.

Public Works Earn Blue Seal of Excellence

The Village's Public Works Fleet Services has earned the Blue Seal of Excellence from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. The award recognizes the quality of the Village's vehicle repair and service staff.  At least 75% of Village staff are ASE certified and each area of service has a certified technician who actively maintains his ASE status. In total, Fleet Services staff has more than 95 years of combined knowledge and experience and between 18 - 33 years of service to the Village. Barkapalooza Helps Shelter Animals

Mayor Pecak helps kick off the Barkapalooza Walkathon, on Sunday, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at beautiful Community Park in Lisle. (Route 53 and Short Street). It is a fun event, jam packed with activities including micro-chipping, pet pedicures, pet caricatures, food, raffle, rescue groups, a plush pet scavenger hunt with 100 plush pups and more.
