Holiday Reminders

Village of Lisle Offices will be closed Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Offices will reopen Monday, November 27, 2017.  There is no change to the Garbage, Yard Waste and Recycling Collections, they will take place on Tuesday, November 28.

You can gobble gobble, but don’t wobble wobble! #DesignateASoberDriver and #ClickItOrTicket. This Thanksgiving, Lisle Police will be out on the roads helping to keep you safe. Make sure you and all your passengers buckle up. Seat belts save lives and reduce the risk of injuries during accidents...but only if they are used!

The Village's 2017 Leaf Collection Program has been completed. Place remaining leaves in yard waste bags or cans and attached a yard waste sticker to each item. You can also mulch any remaining leaves using a lawnmover. Republic Services will collect leaves through Tuesday, December 12. To learn more, click here

The Santa Light Parade will bring Santa Claus to town, where he will visit with children at the Museums at Station Park. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will kick off the holiday season at 6 p.m. with entertainment in the Village Board Room complete with cookies and hot chocolate. Other activities include Once Upon A Christmas (holiday traditions of yesteryear), the Lisle Santa Train, live reindeer, Holiday Market and heated tent seating for those who purchased food truck items, ice carving and the "Merry on Main" Holiday Walk presented by Downtown Lisle businesses.
