Downtown Master Plan and Parking Study Open House

An informal Open House to review the draft of the Downtown Lisle Master Plan and Parking Study has been scheduled for Thursday, December 14 at Village Hall at 7 p.m. All are invited.  The community will be able to provide feedback to consultants and staff in a relaxed setting. Women's Self-Defense Workshop

Due to popular demand, another FREE! Women's Self-Defense Workshop has been scheduled for Friday, January 12, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at the Lisle Police Department (5040 Lincoln Avenue). Complete a Public Input Survey

The public is invited to provide feedback on the DuPage County Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan by completing a brief online survey. The Mitigation Plan seeks to minimize or eliminate damage from naturally occurring hazards such as floods, tornados, excessive heat, blizzards, etc. The Village of Lisle and DuPage County are collaborating to update the current Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan. Did you know that 80% of trash discarded during the holidays could be reused or recycled? 80%!  Make a positive difference by diverting these items from landfills. Reminder - Yard Waste Collection Ends December 12

Yard Waste Collection for the 2017 season will end Tuesday, December 12, 2017. Yard waste includes leaves, grass clippings, branches, brush and other organic material. Branches and brush refuse must be bundled, using biodegradable fiber, measuring up to four feet long and 18 inches wide, with one yard waste sticker attached to each bundle. Other yard waste should be placed in approved paper yard waste bags or in a rigid container, no larger than 34 gallons, and clearly marked ‘Yard Waste,’ with one yard waste sticker attached to each container. Yard waste in plastic bags will not be accepted. To learn more, click here. Yard Waste Collection will resume in the spring 2018.
