Cost Savings Initiatives

Instead of filling an open GIS (Geographical Information Systems) position, the Village is saving $60,000/year by sharing DuPage County's GIS staff two days per week. GIS staff compile and analyze data and create maps. The DuPage County/Village of Lisle partnership leverages existing staff more effectively while maintaining service levels.
