Municipal Aggregation Program

  Village Renews Electrical Aggregation Program

The Village recently renewed the Municipal Electrical Aggregation Program and contracted with the lowest bidder, Dynegy Energy, at a fixed rate of 7.263¢ per kWh for a two-year term ending October 2020. Participating ratepayers have saved hundreds of dollars in power costs since the program began. The program includes 25% Green power through the purchase of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs).

Electric aggregation renewal notices were mailed out to Lisle residences in early August. To opt out of Lisle’s Municipal Aggregation program, residents may return the postage-paid postcard that was included in the mailing, or call Dynegy at 844-351-7691. The opt out deadline is August 24, 2018. Residents can drop from the program at any time during the term with no fees. Visit Dynegy.com for FAQs and community-specific information. Residents can also email the company at DESCustCare@Dynegy.com.

For more information, please click here. For general questions about the Municipal Aggregation program, please call the Northern Illinois Municipal Electric Collaborative (NIMEC) at 800-727-3820. Residents can leave a phone number and a return call will be made within 24 hours (in many cases, within minutes).
